The cottage is ideally placed for walking/cycling in the North Harris Hills, or visiting some of the most spectacular beaches in the Scottish Isles (white sand and turquoise sea!)
Downstairs accommodation includes: a well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine - with dining space for 6 people; a spacious lounge with open fire, sofa-bed, Freesat TV and a collection of DVDs, games and books; a bathroom with bath and shower, and a small sun room - ideal for a leisurely coffee with binoculars!
Upstairs there are two good-sized bedrooms – one king sized and one with a double bed and single bed – and a toilet/shower room. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. Outside, a decked area to the front and side of the cottage overlooking a small garden provides ideal space for alfresco dining at the picnic table or simply relaxing with a good book. There is private off road parking.
The cottage is heated by electric radiators and electricity is included in the price.
Local amenities in Tarbert include grocery stores, bank, café, gift shop, restaurant and bar and of course The Isle of Harris Distillery and canteen which serves delicious local produce.
